Wednesday, July 4, 2012, the Parking Office will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

Central Garage Construction Maintenance Project -  Pardon our dust!

The Central Garage is currently undergoing required maintenance and the East 19th Street entrance/exit will remain CLOSED throughout the summer semester.  To enter/exit the Central Garage, please use the East 21st Street entrance/exit.  A minimum of 300 parking spaces will remain available while the project is underway.

Please note that the Main Classroom Garage (MG) is available for all parking patrons (prepaid and daily pay) during the summer sessions and that CG is occupied most Thursday mornings when we host incoming students and their family members during our Orientation sessions this summer.

Parking at South Garage -
Don't have a prepaid hangtag?  Parking at SG is $1 per hour or $6 per day.  Prepaid hangtag holders may park in SG by swiping in and swiping out with their Viking Card; Viking Card access is typically active within 1 business day after purchase of a prepaid hangtag.  **Special Event parking is exempt from this special rate.  Click on the South Garage web page for full information about the operation of this garage.

Use your UPass to commute on campus -
Summer UPasses are available at the Cashiers Office for any student enrolled in a summer class on the main campus.   Convenient campus stops of RTA busses  are on Euclid Avenue at East 13th Street [Arts Campus], East 19th Street [core campus], East 24th Street [Julka Hall and residence halls] and at the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Transit Center [near the South Garage].  Full schedule information can be found at http://www.riderta.com/

TEN+2 Program Discontinued
 - The sale of TEN+2 parking coupons was discontinued February 1st.  Effective June 30th, TEN+1 and TEN+2 coupons are no longer accepted as a form of payment.

Overnight Parking for Commuter Students -
Parking overnight on campus for commuter students requires the purchase of an Overnight Parking Permit. The permit must be displayed on the windshield of prepaid hangtag holders. Overnight privileges are not available to Daily Usage hangtag holders. Overnight permits are valid for a single semester and allow parking in any available CSU Parking area.  Summer Semester 2012 Overnight Parking Permits may be purchased via your CampusNet account or from the Parking Office.

Lot 22 - Student Center Parking is Self Pay by Using the Pay Station -
The Pay Station operates like a parking meter -- you must pay for the amount of time needed using a credit card, debit card or cash.  Just remember your parking space number, enter it into the Pay Station, request the number of hours you need and submit payment. The Pay Station issues a receipt upon payment that provides you with the time your parking expires and your space number.  The Pay Station does not give change.

Pay Station rate = $1 per hour (minimum is 1 hour and maximum is 5 hours).

CSU Prepaid hangtags
are not valid in the Student Center garage except for when displayed with a disabled parking placard on vehicles parked in designated disabled parking spaces.

The Pay Station is in force 24 hours/everyday -
Citations will be issued on expired spaces every two hours. Please direct questions or comments to parking@csuohio.edu or call 216-687-2023.

CSU Scratch-off Hangtags - CSU Scratch-off hangtags are
not valid for parking in Lot 22, under the Student Center or at metered parking spaces.

Innerbelt Bridges Construction Project -
Because of Innerbelt construction, traffic patterns in downtown Cleveland area are changing daily. Delays are expected, so allow extra time to reach Cleveland State University. For complete, up to date information, click on the ODOT website (innerbelt.org) or follow the project on Twitter (@ODOT_Innerbelt) for the most current traffic pattern changes.

Commuter Advantage for Faculty and Staff -
Faculty and Staff can purchase RTA monthly bus passes via payroll deduction (eligibility requirements apply). The payroll deduction option means that the expense for the pass will be paid with pre-tax dollars and can provide employees with a tax benefit of up to $200 per year. You also have the convenience the automatic payment for the pass.

Sign up for Commuter Advantage. Click here for more information about the RTA Commuter Advantage program.
